Books Galore!

My colleague Ken and I went to Takashimaya for lunch. Well, actually, I suggested to go takashimaya cos I wanted to go Kinokuniya :P

I have reserved a book and I wanted to pick it up today.....

In the end... I got more than I should! But but but.... Kinokuniya is having a 20% sale so it's not so bad... :P (and yes, I'm a member, cos I have a library to fill?)

Yes, this little bookshelf is our library

Not many books right?

The book I reserved... This book is about John D. Rockefeller. I find his life story inspiring especially how he went about to standardize global oil. THAT is something really awesome!

Then the book I got for Ad just in case she wants to read up on Warren Buffett. I was torn between this and "The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life by Alice Schroeder"

but when I started to read a couple of pages, I thought that this was more suited to my taste.

I think the market is pretty good for investing so if I want to invest in companies, I should start reading up on how to read the financial statements! So I got this book.

OK, I have Buffettology but that's about the long bull, this is something I thought I should update myself...

Yes, it's all about investment which is my interest and my passion.

I watched this DVD by Jim Rohn and one of the keys to greatness is personal development. So I kick-started my reading habit again for continuous learning and development. I was told this "The moment you stop growing is when you're dead!" So, start growing!
